Our Food Philosophy

We embrace the holistic purpose and recognize the power of food beyond the nutrients it provides. Our Chefs create menus that meet the diverse needs of students and provide comfort to parents. Our meals provide the nutrition studens need to fuel them through their studies and as they grow.

From Scratch Cooking

We start with food in its purest most natural form using locally and regionally sourced ingredients. We cook from scratch to prepare customized menus that are flavourful, tasty and filled with natural goodness to support students to reach their fullest potential.

Fueling Students

We prioritize healthy, nutrient packed, and diverse culinary offers that support students through their academic journeys. Our team carefully crafts each dish to ensure they reflect our student-first program. Whether our students need a quick grab-and-go meal before they head to their next class, or somewhere to study while they eat, we have it all!

Sourcing From the Best

Quality begins with the items we purchase. We are committed to Fair Trade and source our tomatoes, tea, coffee, and chocolate from Certified Fair Trade vendors whenever possible. We strive to include food that is fresh and seasonal, locally grown and produced, wholesome and minimally processed, sustainable and fair, and welcoming of all diets to provide food that is full of flavour, delicious, creative, and accessible.

Allergen Awareness

Our guiding principle and vision is to create recipes that are as safe and healthy. We use signage in serving areas to support students with making informed decisions about their meals.

Through training and nutritional guidance, we successfully and
safely feed thousands of students with specific dietary needs and preferences each year.
